Newtown Spring Festival
The Newtown Spring Festival will be held on Sunday, April 17th, 2022, from 1pm to 5pm at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex.

Sarasota, Florida 34234 - Introduction: The event is free and open to the public. Guests will enjoy live music, local gospel choirs, dance performances, vendors, food trucks, kids’ activities, and a strong sense of community.
Carrying on the tradition of the historic Newtown Easter Parade, a neighborhood institution since the 1960s, community leaders have organized a new event in the spirit of the original.

The festival is a truly collaborative effort, bringing together a variety of different individuals and organizations, including Newtown Alive, Shantel Norman, Gwendalyn Fleetwood, Newtown Nation, Sarasota's African American Cultural Coalition, the Sarasota Police Department, and the City of Sarasota.
